2 Quick Tips For Keeping The Momentum

You spent all that time building momentum the first few weeks, don't stop now!

(Watch The Video Or Read The Post Below)

The first 3 weeks of this school year have been EPIC, but I have another meeting coming up next week and I am worried....

What if nobody comes?

Of course I know my board and those few key people will be there, but what about those other parents who were SO excited that I spent all that time following up with?  Here are two quick tips to keep them engaged this month and throughout the year!

1.  STAY ENTHUSIASTIC - This is the hardest for me.  I get discouraged.  I pour my heart and soul into doing incredible things to benefit our kids, and nobody shows up, or I don't get the turnout I was hoping for.  Ever been there?  No matter what your results have been, ALWAYS BE ENTHUSIASTIC.  Pessimism never drew anyone to anything.  Maintain that excitement and passion that pulled people in in the first place.  Enthusiasm is contagious, and so is a lack of it.  Join me in trying to stay as enthusiastic as possible.

2.  ASK POINTY QUESTIONS - Will I see you there?  Can I count on your support?  These are all great questions.  Not just "letting them know" but personally inviting them to your event.  What about giving one of those parents on the verge A JOB a the meeting.  Not public speaking, people hate that, but maybe just helping with setup or something easy.  Whatever you do, dont "just let them know."  Ask, "Will you be there?"  Tell them you want them there and then, as we always talk about, thank them for coming or send them a message telling them you missed them.

Don't miss a tip.  Be sure to subscribe!  As always, thanks for your support, and post your questions below.
